Draft Bicycle & Pedestrian Master Plan Now Available

The draft Bicycle & Pedestrian Master Plan is now available. This document is designed to guide the development of facilities to enhance bicycling and walking as safe, enjoyable, and practical transportation choices for the San Leandro community. TODDLER STORYTIME: Stories, rhymes and romps for ages 1-3

Just the right pace for you and your totally nonstop toddler up to age 3, we’ll enjoy stories, songs and active rhymes, followed by a play time. We offer duplicate sessions at 9:30am and 10:30am, so please choose just one to attend. This storytime takes place in the ESTUDILLO ROOM of the Main Library.

This program takes place in the ESTUDILLO ROOM at the Main Library.

Join us at the Museum (320 W. Estudillo Avenue) throughout the summer for movies that that will take you on fabulous adventures! Follow Mulan on her journey as she saves her father’s life by secretly taking his place in the army and becomes one of China’s greatest heroines. 2:30 PMTeen Summer Activity: Cards for Kids (Main Library)

Teens going into grades 7 to 12 are invited to drop in to make cards for hospitalized kids and make a S'mores snack mix to take home! No registration needed, just come to the Karp room at the Main Library to join in. Questions? Please call 510-577-3960.

FAMILY STORYTIME: Stories, songs and play for families

Based on our preschool storytime, this evening program offers terrific books, songs and rhymes for kids of all ages to enjoy. We explore a different theme each week with books and crafts to help with emerging literacy and fine motor skills, followed by a play time. Wear your pajamas if you’d like!

The Senior Commission advises the City Council on matters relating to the status and condition of senior citizens within the City, assesses and reports to the council on the social, health and other needs of senior citizens and recommends methods of meeting such needs. The Commission has nine members who serve four-year terms. The Senior Commission meets the 3rd Thursday of each month at 10:00 a.m. in the Senior Community Center, Located at 13909 East 14th Street.
