Luna Mexicana Ballet Performance

September 20, 2018 

The City of San Leandro and San Leandro Unified School District is hosting the Oakland Ballet Company once again this year in celebration of Dia de los Muertos on October 18, 2018. Ticket sales now live! RSVP to this popular performance at: https://bit.ly/2MIertV.

Luna Mexicana ballet performance will take place at the San Leandro High School's Arts Education Center located at 2250 Bancroft Avenue at 6:00 p.m. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. This event is free and open to the public with seats available on a first-come first-served basis.

Apply for the Arts & Culture Grant Program!

September 12, 2018 

The City of San Leandro and the San Leandro Arts Commission announced a new Arts & Culture Grants Program available for interested artists and invites participants to apply! Grants of up to $4,000 for non-profit organizations and $2,000 for individual artists are available. Neighborhood Cleanup Event

September 11, 2018 

Get ready to clean out those closets, attics and garages! The San Leandro Recycling Program is hosting a FREE drop off event for San Leandro residents. Appliances, furniture, mattresses, household batteries, electronics, fluorescent lamps, tires, clean wood/yard trimmings and scrap metal will be accepted. Residents may also drop off cell phones and chargers, CDs, DVDs and audio and video tapes for recycling.

Draft Bicycle & Pedestrian Master Plan Now Available

December 11, 2017 

The draft Bicycle & Pedestrian Master Plan is now available. This document is designed to guide the development of facilities to enhance bicycling and walking as safe, enjoyable, and practical transportation choices for the San Leandro community. *space is limited to 15 families
Enjoy focused time with your baby (pre-walkers ages 0 to 12 months) during this short session. We’ll sing songs in English and Spanish, learn easy movement activities, and explore board books, followed by time to play/bond with your baby and talk with other parents and caregivers. If you have a baby and a toddler/preschooler, please attend our toddler storytime or preschool storytime instead.
