The City Clerk reports to the City Manager and serves as a liaison between the City Council and members of the public. The City Clerk also serves as a conduit to assist the community members in participating in local government and in making informed decisions. Clerk staff ensure all council actions are in compliance with Federal, State and Local laws and all actions are appropriately executed, recorded and archived. The City Clerk’s office is responsible for a wide range of duties and primarily include agenda management and distribution, recording Council actions at meetings; responding to public requests for information, coordinating the city records management program and coordinating the broadcast of the City Council agenda and other public service announcements on the government access channel.
