The Alameda County Fire Department, through a contract for services, provides services to the City of San Leandro. The Alameda County Fire Department is dedicated to providing the highest level of service possible to the communities it serves. The Department currently provides a wide variety of services to an ever expanding and diverse population. These services include fire suppression, hazardous materials mitigation, paramedic services, urban search and rescue, fire prevention and public education. One of our biggest priorities is the prevention of fires, accidents and injuries, before they occur. This is accomplished through fire prevention, building code enforcement, and public education.
