Did you serve in the military? Then you are a veteran making you eligible for a variety of benefits. The Veteran's Resource Center at the San Leandro Public Library is dedicated to helping Veterans and their families. The Center provides assistance through trained volunteers who can connect Veterans and their families to benefits and resources. The Center also provides access to books, DVDs and pamphlets on various topics including transitioning from military to civilian life, finding jobs, surviving change, Veterans benefits and managing post-traumatic stress disorders.
