Chabot Park

The City of San Leandro is pleased to announce the re-opening of Chabot Park to the public, effective at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, February 9, 2018. Due to weather/muddy conditions, not all amenities will be functional when the park re-opens (such as the disc golf course and horseshoe pits), as it’s too soggy still for some of our larger equipment to access. We will continue to actively work at the park to get everything up an running as soon as possible.

Located at Estudillo Avenue and Sylvan Circle, this is a unique, rustic 10-acre park, nestled in the hills of San Leandro. Amenities include a large group picnic area with capacity for 190 people, small picnic areas with barbecue pits, play equipment, restrooms, amphitheater, volleyball court and a large grassy field.

Picnic areas are available for reservation from from April 1 through October 31.

Insurance is required for parties of 100 people or more.

Amplified Sound is not permitted at Chabot Park.
Inflatables are allowed in:  ALL RESERVABLE AREAS during the picnic season, April 1 – October 31 with proper permit only. Only companies from ourapproved list are allowed to place inflatables in San Leandro Parks. Wet inflatables (those which use water) and inflatables requiring multiple generators are not permitted.
