Alameda County Fire Department

CPR TRAINING COURSE

It is a known fact that the initiation of early CPR has proven to increase the survival rate of patients who suffer a cardiac arrest.  The combination of community CPR, early defibrillation and advanced life support has been proven to save lives.  There are two CPR courses available through the Fire Department to the general public.  A Class A course will provide the skills needed for Adult CPR (approximately 3 hours).  A Class B course will provide the skills for Infant, Child, and Adult CPR (approximately 4 hours).  These classes are authorized by the American Heart Association.

Prescheduled classes are offered in the jurisdictions we serve.  Call our CPR Hotline at (510) 670-5895 for time, dates, and locations.
