Free CERT Training Starts January 19

The Alameda County Fire Department (ACFD) would like to announce that the first Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) class of 2012 is right around the corner!  Classes will be held at the San Leandro Library in the Karp Room, beginning January 19.  CERT trains people to take care of themselves, their families and their neighbors in the event of a disaster.  There is no cost for this training.

View the class flyer and feel free to distribute to family, friends, and neighbors.  As a reminder, all ACFD CERT classes are free to anyone who lives or works within Alameda County's Fire District (Dublin, San Leandro, Newark, Union City and the Unincorporated Areas of Alameda County).

To register for this class: Please go to www.acfdcert.eventbrite.com and select the Jan/Feb classes.

Register early, as this class is expected to fill up.

When: 6 Consecutive Thursdays starting January 19, 6:30-9:30 p.m.
Dates: January 19, 26, February 2, 9, 16 and 23
Where: San Leandro Library, Karp Room, 300 Estudillo Ave, San Leandro CA
