Cornerstone and SLTC represent transformative high density, large scale developments which further the goals of the City's award winning Downtown Transit Oriented Development Strategy adopted in 2007. The Cornerstone provides needed affordable family housing, with the majority of Phase 1 units being 2- and 3-bedroom units, and childcare near mass public transit. SLTC will provide 400 high quality tech jobs in Phase 1 and 1,800 similar jobs when Phases 2 and 3 are eventually completed. When fully completed, these projects represent an over $250 million investment in Downtown San Leandro.
