How will Your Neighborhood Respond to a Disaster?

The Alameda County Fire Department invites you to attend a free Map Your Neighborhood Disaster Response Training.

Monday, June 14, 1010        7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
San Leandro Library - Lecture Hall (300 Estudillo Avenue, San Leandro)

The Map Your Neighborhood Program
Helps communities organize themselves to be self-sufficient in the event of a large scale emergency or disaster. This self-administered program by a community group helps to pre plan for emergencies through asset and resource mapping. It also teaches nine simple steps to follow after an emergency.

Who Should Attend?
Organized community groups, CERT members, Neighborhood Watch Bock Captains, and any community member interested in organizing their neighborhood to respond in the event of a disaster.

What to expect during this training:

  • Learn how the Map Your Neighborhood program can prepare your neighborhood for a disaster
  • View the self-guided, Map Your Neighborhood DVD
  • Discover how easy it is to prepare your community for a disaster!
