Neighborhood Watch is an effective partnership between San Leandro residents and their
Police Department to improve safety and prevent crime. Typically, a Police Department
representative will make an appearance at a designated residence, agreed upon meeting place,
or at the Police Department facility, and discuss:
- Crime trends in your neighborhood and San Leandro as a whole
- Safety and security of your home, person, vehicle, and children
- How to recognize and report suspicious activity to the police
- How to interact with neighbors in your group
