SAN LEANDRO POLICE DEPARTMENT

              CITIZEN RIDE-ALONG PROGRAM

If you would like to ride with a San Leandro Police Officer during his/her normal tour of duty, you may do so if you are at least 18 years of age and meet one of the following criteria:

1. Live in San Leandro;
2. Own a business in San Leandro; or
3. Are currently an applicant for a Police position.

If you qualify for a ride-along, please contact the Chief of Police stating the reason you wish to participate, as well as your contact information. You will be contacted at a later date with the specific time and date of your ride-along. Typically, ride-alongs are scheduled during swing shift hours (4:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.) and last four hours.
