CITY PARKS

San Leandro is proud of its extensive park system which includes 23 parks and recreation facilities including community and neighborhood parks, swimming pools and sports fields. Facilities encourage a variety of activities including running and walking, picnicking, tennis, softball, and swimming. Ten large group picnic areas and all three swimming pools are available on a reservation basis for family activities or a large group gathering. These are marked in the index with an asterisk (*).
